But, we at Foster Kids believe in assisting parents in the process of holistic child development that starts at home. These are some tips that will aid the school’s effort of inculcating values and education into young learners.

  • Parents are required to keep in touch with the teachers to track their child’s progress.
  • Parents should communicate their concerns to the teachers or school management through the daily diary.
  • Parents hold the duty to attend PTMs regularly and sign their child’s progress card.
  • Parents must fully participate and cooperate in the school events and celebrations.
  • Parents must constantly encourage their child to participate in the school’s learning process.
  • Never impose things but play a passive role in encouraging the child.
  • Discourage use of foul language at home and guide them as to what is right and what is not.
  • Do not compare the child with other children.
  • Have healthy play and discussions at home.
  • Plan weekends with your child.
  • Pay close attention to the child’s lunch which they carry to school. Give them a healthy tiffin to eat.
  • Dine in with family together and try to teach table manners to the kids. Tell them how to hold the knife and spoon and eat/ drink without spilling food items.
